As the 2024 saffron season winds down, we want to share an important update: sales of Crocus sativus bulbs for this season have officially closed. This decision allows us to ensure that your planting experience is as successful as possible. Timing is everything in saffron cultivation, and we know from experience that planting your bulbs in August or September is key. It gives the bulbs time to establish strong roots before the flowering season arrives, setting the stage for a healthy, vibrant saffron harvest.

Looking Ahead: Preparing for a Thriving 2025 Season

Good news for those of you planning ahead—our nursery has already begun preparations to ensure a plentiful supply of top-quality bulbs for 2025! Starting this November, we will be accepting pre-orders for Crocus sativus bulbs, with delivery scheduled for July 2025. If you’re after the largest bulbs (size 11/+), which were in high demand and sold out quickly last season, early booking is your best bet to secure these precious gems.
